Different types of crosslinkers:
Two-component aqueous crosslinking:
• High quality appearance;
• UV stability and weatherability using aliphatic polyisocyanates;
• Chemical resistance and solvent resistance; and
• Hardness, flexibility and toughness caused by urethane and urea bonds.
One-component aqueous crosslinking (blocking isocyanate):
They are usually formulated as 1-K coatings and dried and cured under baking conditions, for example in automotive metals or tires.
